MEW urges continued conservation to maintain summer power stability

Ministry of Electricity says it successfully managed peak summer electricity demand without scheduled power cuts, crediting conservation efforts and Gulf Interconnection Grid support while urging continued energy savings.

According to informed ministry sources, despite ongoing challenges in meeting rising electricity demand during the peak summer months, the ministry has maintained the stability of the national power system since the beginning of the season.

Officials expressed confidence in maintaining reliable electricity supplies throughout the remainder of the summer while urging consumers to continue conserving electricity and water.

The ministry emphasized that public cooperation in reducing unnecessary energy and water consumption remains essential to ensuring uninterrupted services during periods of high demand.
