MEW announces week-long maintenance on power transformers across Kuwait

The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced that scheduled maintenance work will begin, Saturday, on several power transformers located across all six governorates. The maintenance operations are expected to last for one week.
In a statement published on its official account on the X platform, the ministry explained that maintenance work will begin daily at 8:00 a.m. and will last for four hours, subject to the nature of the work being carried out.

The Ministry called on the public to help conserve electricity — especially during peak hours from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.— to ensure the stability of the electrical network during the maintenance period.
