Meteorologist says it’s time to swap winter clothes for summer gear

Starting from the holiday and continuing into next week, temperatures will rise to the high 20s during the day, reaching the low 30s, with moderate weather at night but cooler conditions in desert areas, meteorologist IssaRamadan said.

Daytime temperatures are expected to surpass 20°C, reaching near 30°C, with moderate conditions at night, though desert areas will remain cooler.

Next Sunday will mark the vernal equinox, when day and night are of equal length. From then on, the days will get longer, and the nights shorter, with the angle of incidence of the sun’s rays increasing.

 

Meteorologist Issa Ramadan forecasts a rise in temperatures across the country starting this weekend and continuing into next week. Daytime temperatures are expected to surpass 20°C, reaching near 30°C, with moderate conditions at night, though desert areas will remain cooler, Al-Qabas newspaper reported.

Ramadan said in a tweet on the X platform that “It’s time to pack away the winter clothes and bring out the spring and summer ones. Starting from the holiday and into next week, temperatures will rise to the high 20s during the day, reaching the low 30s. The weather will be moderate at night but tend to be cooler in desert areas.

Ramadan also noted that next Sunday will mark the vernal equinox, when day and night are of equal length. From then on, the days will get longer, and the nights shorter, with the angle of incidence of the sun’s rays increasing, leading to a gradual rise in temperatures over the coming period.
