Met predicts dust storms, temperatures expected to reach 51°C

Kuwait is set for another day of intense summer heat, with the Meteorological Department forecasting extremely hot conditions and maximum temperatures expected to reach 51 degrees Celsius Wednesday.
Forecasters said the country will experience very hot weather during the day, accompanied by light to moderate northwesterly winds that may occasionally strengthen, reaching speeds of 15 to 40 km/h.
The strong winds could create dusty conditions in some areas, particularly open spaces, while residents are advised to take precautions against heat exposure during peak daytime hours.
Nighttime conditions will remain hot to warm, with northwesterly winds continuing at light to moderate speeds and becoming occasionally active along coastal areas, reaching up to 40 km/h.
Temperatures are expected to remain high overnight, with the minimum forecast at around 32 degrees Celsius, offering little relief from the daytime heat.
Authorities continue to urge residents to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, stay hydrated and follow safety measures as Kuwait experiences one of the most intense periods of its summer season.
