Kuwait author presents French ambassador with his book
The Ambassador of the French Republic to the State of Kuwait, Olivier Gauvin, received the author Dr. Issa Mohamed Al-Omairi, who presented him with his new book titled “France and Kuwait: Deep-Rooted Historical Relations”, which covers the relations between the two countries from 1990 to 2024.
This book is one of the recent publications documenting Franco-Kuwaiti relations, addressing France’s role in the liberation of Kuwait, as well as the reciprocal visits between the two countries, the strengthening of health, military, and economic relations, and the commercial and archival agreements between France and Kuwait.
This new publication by Dr. Issa Mohamed Al-Omairi is part of a series of significant works he has authored, including “The Knight of Civilization and Development”, which discusses the experience of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum; “The Journey of a Nation”, dedicated to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; and “The Sultan of Majesty”, exploring various aspects of the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said’s life, as well as many works documenting the life of the late Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad and the poet Dr. Souad Al-Sabah.
