Lt. General Al-Nawaf inspects security and logistical preparations for the Gulf Summit
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf, accompanied by the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Traffic and Operations Affairs, Major General Yousef Al-Khudah, along with a number of security leaders, conducted an inspection tour on Wednesday.
The inspection tour was meant to review the security and logistical preparations, as well as the equipment of the sectors responsible for securing the 45th Gulf Summit, which is scheduled to be held in the State of Kuwait on December 1.
General Al-Nawaf received an explanation from the National Guard, the General Fire Department, and the Ministry of Interior regarding the security measures for Kuwait’s guests during the summit.
The briefing covered the tasks and responsibilities assigned to each working unit, as well as their roles in ensuring protection, security, and control during the event.
General Al-Nawaf emphasized the full readiness to secure the 45th Gulf Summit, ensuring the safety and security of Kuwait’s guests. He highlighted that the military sectors are deploying all their resources and capabilities to ensure the conference is held in a manner befitting the State of Kuwait.
At the end of the tour, the team emphasized the need for full readiness, vigilance, and complete coordination between all agencies involved in the security operations. This coordination aims to ensure the effective implementation of all security, traffic, and logistical aspects.
General Al-Nawaf expressed his deep appreciation for the tireless efforts of the security personnel and voiced his satisfaction with the preparations made by the security services, as well as the support provided by auxiliary and supporting authorities.
