Lebanese Embassy in Kuwait hosts gathering for medical professionals

Event strengthens social and professional ties among Lebanese doctors

The Embassy of the Lebanese Republic in Kuwait recently organized a networking and community-building event for Lebanese doctors practicing across various medical specialties in Kuwait.

The event, held in the Lebanon Hall of the embassy, was to reinforce social bonds and professional connections within the Lebanese medical community abroad.

A statement issued by the embassy, said the initiative forms part of its broader efforts to bring together members of the Lebanese diaspora, foster unity among them, and promote a shared sense of belonging, reports Al-Rai daily

The event also served as a platform to highlight the significant contributions of Lebanese medical professionals in Kuwait, while encouraging ongoing engagement with fellow citizens.

In his welcoming remarks, Chargé d’Affaires Ahmed Arafa underscored the strong and enduring ties between Lebanon and Kuwait, describing them as rooted in mutual respect, brotherhood, and fruitful cooperation.

He reiterated the embassy’s commitment to representing all Lebanese citizens equally and promoting unity, while urging Lebanese nationals to remain committed to the laws, customs, and traditions of Kuwait, their generous and respected host country.

Arafa also highlighted the recent visit of Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun to Kuwait, noting that it had contributed to opening new avenues for bilateral collaboration and reinforcing the already historic relationship between the two nations.

He also highlighted the increasing flow of Kuwaiti tourists to Lebanon, particularly during the summer and Eid al-Adha holidays, as a reflection of the warm ties between the peoples of both countries.

Paying tribute to Lebanese doctors in Kuwait, Arafa praised their dedication to their noble profession, noting that their role extends beyond providing medical care to embodying hope and healing for every patient.

He commended their steadfast support for both the Lebanese community in Kuwait and their families back home, as well as their valuable contributions to the Kuwaiti healthcare sector, where they continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and responsibility.
