Lawyer, and 20-year-old woman arrested for drug possession

A lawyer, whose identity has not been disclosed, who was recently arrested by police for possessing drugs in his office, has confessed to possessing various types of narcotics.

During interrogation, according to Al-Rai daily, he revealed that he had received the drugs from a 20-year-old woman.

Authorities subsequently arrested the young woman, and a search led to the seizure of a quantity of drugs in her possession.

During interrogation, she admitted to supplying the lawyer with narcotics on a recurring basis. She further disclosed that she received the drugs from, what she called, an external network.
The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal action.
