Kuwait’s vibrant Ramadan traditions are a source of special significance: Balmelli

H.E. Dr. Tiziano Balmelli, Swiss Ambassador to Kuwait, congratulated Kuwait’s government and people, led by His Highness the Amir, on the occasion of Ramadan. He explained that Ramadan holds special significance in Kuwait due to its beautiful customs and traditions, praising the pioneering culture of Diwaniya that fosters cohesion and social communication.

In statements to reporters on the sidelines of the Kuwaiti-Swiss Diwaniya, which he established in his place of residence, Balmelli pointed out that the idea of establishing the Diwaniya came in coordination with the Swiss-Kuwaiti business platform to bring together the business community connecting the two friendly countries. He expressed his happiness at seeing many friends from Switzerland, who are considered the foundation of bilateral relations and friendship between the two countries.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Ali Abdul Wahab, as well as the Chairman of the Kuwaiti-Swiss Business Platform, Faisal Al-Mutawa, expressed his happiness with this gathering and the distinctive Ramadan atmosphere.

He mentioned that this atmosphere reflects the depth of historical relations between Switzerland and Kuwait, which he described as friendly and excellent at the economic and tourism levels.
