Kuwait’s Municipality urges camp owners to dismantle tents, avoid penalties

The Director of Public Relations for the Municipality and its official spokesperson, Mohammed Al-Sindan, has urged all spring camp owners to dismantle their tents, as this year’s camping season has officially ended.
In a press statement, Al-Sindan emphasized that municipal field teams had already issued warnings to camp owners who continued operating beyond the official period set by the Kuwait Municipality.
Al-Sindan reiterated that any camps found in violation would face penalties, including the forfeiture of their security deposit and being held responsible for the costs associated with dismantling and removal.
Moreover, Al-Sindan concluded by expressing gratitude to camp owners for their cooperation with municipal teams in dismantling their camps, ensuring adherence to camping regulations and guidelines. He also reaffirmed that the municipality’s teams remain committed to enforcing the rules and will take all necessary actions, including issuing violation reports, against those who fail to comply.
