Kuwait’s Interior Ministry implements strict safety measures for Girgean celebrations

As the Girgean event approaches during the holy month of Ramadan, the Ministry of Interior has emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic regulations and security guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone, especially children.
The Ministry emphasized the need to keep internal roads in residential areas open and prohibited the use of recreational vehicles, folklore bands, and food carts in these areas due to their potential to obstruct traffic and endanger lives. Strict legal action will be taken against violators.
Moreover, the Ministry also urged parents to closely monitor their children and not rely on domestic workers for their supervision, emphasizing the importance of following safety instructions. Additionally, the ministry called on drivers to reduce speed and remain attentive on both internal and public roads to prevent accidents.
The Ministry emphasized that a comprehensive security and traffic plan has been developed for the holy month of Ramadan, which includes the deployment of fixed and mobile security patrols across various governorates to enhance security and ensure public safety.
