Under the patronage of Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, and Hamad Al-Habshi, Governor of Jahra, a new outlet showcasing Kuwaiti products was opened under the umbrella of the Kuwait Farmers’ Union, as reported by Q8-Press.
The Ministry of Social Affairs stated that the site covers an area of 5,000 square meters, is centrally air-conditioned, and is organized to accommodate more than 1,000 pallets simultaneously. It features six doors equipped for the easy and quick loading and unloading of goods, suitable for all types and sizes of transport vehicles.
Located on the sixth ring road, the site provides convenient access for farmers and cooperatives, with ample parking available.
The site operates 24 hours a day to receive farmers’ goods, supported by a specialized team for receiving, arranging, and classifying goods based on product quality. An automated system using barcodes documents the data for each pallet, including quantity, quality grade, weight, and the farm’s unified number.
The site is monitored by surveillance cameras around the clock and is staffed by security personnel. It is equipped with emergency exits and meets the safety requirements of the Kuwait Fire Force, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
