Kuwaiti teacher detained for inciting student to immorality
The accused teacher sent the student immoral messages, pictures, and videos via social media, despite a prior conviction for similar acts.
The Public Prosecution in the State of Kuwait has ordered the pretrial detention of a Kuwaiti teacher on charges of inciting one of his students to engage in prostitution and debauchery via the internet, according to Al Jarida newspaper.
The Public Prosecution explained in a statement, “The accused teacher sent the student, via a social media platform, phrases, pictures, and video recordings that violate public morals, given that the accused had previously been convicted of similar acts.”
The Public Prosecution interrogated the accused, who confessed to the charges, and the investigation is ongoing.
