Kuwaiti medical students hold sixth annual conference in the UK

Kuwaiti Medical Students in the United Kingdom (Al Raya List) organized their sixth annual medical conference in the UK, bringing together doctors, consultants, and researchers to discuss advancements in specialties including orthopedics, endocrinology, dentistry, pharmacy, and physical therapy.
Conference President Rawan Jarkhi highlighted the importance of early diagnosis, improved treatment methods, and the exchange of medical expertise.
She stressed that the event supports medical students in Britain while enhancing their future role in Kuwait’s healthcare sector.

The speakers emphasized progress in various fields such as the orthopedic consultant Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Mutairi praised Kuwait’s advanced surgical expertise; dentist Dr. Osama Behbehani stressed perseverance in education and dental program expansion; pharmacist Ali Abdullah underlined the growing role of pharmacy; and physical therapist Mohammed Al-Farhan pointed to the broadening scope of physical medicine beyond sports care.
