Kuwait to host ‘Russian Seasons’ cultural festival in 2025
The festival will include several interesting events such as performances from Russian ballet dancers, orchestras, and choreography groups, along with heritage, ancient traditions and fine art exhibitions.

The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov announced that the ‘Russian Seasons’ project, which aims to showcase Russian culture abroad, will be held in Kuwait next year in 2025.
He shared this during a press conference following his talks with the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, Abdullah Al-Yahya, a few days ago, according to the Russian news agency ‘TASS’.
“Last month, the ‘Kuwait Cultural Week’ was successfully held in Moscow. It was a great event in the cultural life of the city, and aroused great interest among art connoisseurs. We are looking forward to next year, and we plan to implement the ‘Russian Seasons’ project in Kuwait. This usually includes dozens of events with the participation of ballet dancers, orchestras, choreography groups among others,” Lavrov said.
On the other hand, ‘TASS’ added that the ‘Russian Seasons’ project, which annually presents Russian culture internationally, aims to educate other countries about Russia’s heritage and ancient traditions.
Furthermore, the Russian Foreign Minister noted that since its inception, more than 100 years ago, over 13 million spectators attended the ‘Russian Seasons’ events.
In 1908, the Russian theater and art entrepreneur, Sergei Diaghilev launched various performances featuring; Russian opera and ballet stars, as well as exhibitions of fine art masterpieces, from Europe and America as well.
Whereas, the Russian Culture Minister, Olga Lyubimova had previously announced that the ‘Russian Seasons’ project would also be organized in the Middle East in 2025.
