“Communication Ministry” urges phone subscribers to clear dues prevent disconnection
The Ministry of Communications, called upon subscribers to pay financial dues of their annual subscriptions to the telephone service, and avoid a scheduled disconnection of the service, which will start from the beginning of next November.
In a press statement today, Wednesday, the Ministry emphasized that the programmed disconnection of phones whose owners have not paid the financial dues for annual subscriptions, will be resumed.
On a cautious note, the Ministry added that it will send notifications to subscribers via the government application “Sahel” urging them to expedite the payment of the financial dues owed by them for annual subscriptions for the services provided by the Ministry.
The Ministry also stressed that this procedure precedes the programmed automatic disconnection process that will be carried out at the beginning of next November, indicating that the programmed disconnection will include all household and commercial subscriptions, especially whose owners have not yet paid the required financial dues to the Ministry.
Moreover, regarding the commitment in paying the due amounts early to ensure the continuity of the service and to avoid being included in the programmed disconnection programme, the Ministry pointed about the possibility of paying financial dues through its website, or by attending the region’s switchboard and paying through the ‘K.Net’ service.
