Kuwait to host 46th ENT and Head & Neck Surgery conference on November 12

The three-day event will feature global participation and discussions on the latest surgical techniques, kicking off with a focus on head and neck surgeries, including the use of surgical robots.

This year’s conference offers 23 continuing medical education points, workshops on balance, hearing, and speech disorders, and live surgeries by visiting consultants in head and neck specialties, sinus endoscopy, and sleep surgeries.

The conference demonstrates the Ministry of Healths dedication to improving the medical expertise of doctors, which will contribute to delivering exceptional medical services to patients in the State of Kuwait.

 

The Ministry of Health is organizing the 46th Conference on ENT and Head and Neck Surgery, which will be held from the 12th of November under the patronage of Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi. The three-day event will feature global participation and discussions on the latest surgical techniques, according to Q8-Press.

Dr. Mutlaq Al-Sihan, the head of the Board of ENT Departments and the head of the ENT Department at ZainCenter, stated in a press release that the conference will kick off with discussions on the latest surgical techniques in head and neck surgeries, including the use of surgical robots.

Dr. Al-Sihan pointed out that the second day of the conference will focus on sinus and tonsil surgeries, emphasizing that this year’s event pays special attention to the latest international scientific research and surgical advancements in these fields.

He also mentioned that the third day will feature a workshop on the endoscopic treatment of salivary ducts, with practical training sessions. The conference will include lectures from global experts, with Arab and Gulf participation, and will cover over 40 scientific and research papers in various specialized discussions.

He stated that this year’s conference offers 23 continuing medical education points, in addition to workshops on balance and hearing disorders, as well as speech difficulties. Several major operations will be performed in various specialties of head and neck surgeries, sinus endoscopy, and sleep surgeries by visiting consultants.

He emphasized that the Ministry of Health is committed to supporting continuing medical education and enhancing the research and technical capabilities of doctors in both the public and private sectors. The ministry also strives to provide ongoing opportunities to learn and apply the latest international surgical techniques.

He added that this year’s conference demonstrates the Ministry of Health’s dedication to improving the medical expertise of doctors, which will contribute to delivering exceptional medical services to patients in the State of Kuwait.
