Kuwait to experience hot and dusty weather over the weekend, says MET

Residents advised to take precautions due to the expected dust, high temperatures, and potential disruptions

The Kuwait Meteorological Department has forecast that the country will experience hot daytime temperatures and relatively hot nights throughout the upcoming weekend.

Speaking to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the department’s Acting Director, Dharar Al-Ali, explained that Kuwait is currently influenced by a shallow surface low-pressure system that is gradually retreating. In its place, a high-pressure system accompanied by a hot, dry air mass and moderate to brisk northwesterly winds is beginning to take hold.
