Kuwait to build world’s largest children’s hospital, enhancing pediatric healthcare

The Ministry of Public Works, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, is finalizing the design of the world’s largest children’s hospital, preparing to launch the implementation tender as part of Kuwait’s development plan.
Sources told Al-Anba that the world’s largest children’s hospital project is in its final pre-tender stage, currently in the fourth phase of document preparation. It is part of the Ministry of Public Works’ strategic projects for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, within Kuwait’s development plan and government program.
Located in the Al-Sabah Medical District, the 800-bed hospital will offer comprehensive pediatric specialties, advanced medical equipment, and smart infrastructure meeting top international standards. This project marks a major leap in Kuwait’s healthcare sector, enhancing medical services for future generations.
Sources stated that the project aligns with the government’s vision to enhance health infrastructure and medical services. Designed to the latest standards, it ensures future service expansion and provides a comprehensive treatment environment for children and their families.
What’s more is that upon completion, the hospital will position Kuwait among the leading countries in pediatric care, with its advanced capabilities and modern technologies, setting a global benchmark for specialized healthcare.
