The Kuwait Society for Humanitarian Endowment and Development continues to carry out watering projects in many of the world’s most needy regions, according to Al Anba newspaper.

In this context, Dr. Nassar Al-Abdul-Jalil, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, stated that the association aims to alleviate thirst among disadvantaged communities through its water-focused projects. These include drilling surface and artesian wells, constructing large wells with extensions, and providing water.

He added that the association operates on a low-cost well strategy, with surface wells in Madagascar and Bangladesh costing 65 Kuwaiti dinars each. Additionally, they distribute water bottles that can supply a family for an entire day at a cost of 120 fils in some areas.

Dr. Al-Abdul-Jalil emphasized that the association’s water projects are inspired by the saying of our Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon Him), The best charity is giving water.
