Kuwait remains fully online despite Red Sea cable outage
Technical teams, working in coordination with Kuwait Station management, successfully restored services to all affected areas without any impact within the country.

The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) reported that a cut to one of GCX’s Falcon cables in the Red Sea was detected on Saturday afternoon, disrupting three international circuits with a combined capacity of 30 gigabytes, Al Qabas newspaper reported.
In a press release, the authority stated that technical teams, working in coordination with Kuwait Station management, successfully restored services to all affected areas without any impact within Kuwait.
The teams began work immediately, and traffic was rerouted to an alternate cable by 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
