The Cabinet called on citizens and residents to ensure accuracy and credibility in all information that is published or circulated, urging them to rely on official sources and avoid being influenced by rumors or false news.

The Cabinet during its weekly meeting on Tuesday under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah, Prime Minister, at the outset, was briefed on a written message addressed to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad, from the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer.

The Cabinet reviewed a briefing by the Minister of Defense, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali, on recent regional developments and ongoing military updates in light of Iranian attacks on Kuwait.

The Minister explained that any explosion sounds heard were due to controlled disposal operations of remnants of explosives and shrapnel by the Army’s engineering units during the ceasefire period between the United States and Iran.

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Al-Jaber updated the Cabinet on diplomatic efforts and international engagements carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He highlighted the outcomes of his recent visits to Bahrain, where he met His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and to Egypt, where he held talks with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. Discussions in both visits focused on strengthening bilateral ties and coordinating on regional issues.

The Cabinet reviewed reports from ministries and government agencies on measures taken to raise preparedness to the highest levels, ensuring the safety of citizens and residents and the uninterrupted provision of essential services amid ongoing regional tensions.
