Kuwait prepares to carry out capital punishment

Kuwait is making final preparations to carry out the death sentences against a number of convicted individuals in the coming days.

The executions are scheduled to take place inside the Central Prison, where a secure and designated execution area has been fully equipped to meet all procedural and legal requirements, reports Al-Rai daily quoting informed security sources.

This includes the readiness of first aid units, in case of emergency situations, as well as the presence of forensic teams to ensure proper documentation and compliance with legal protocols.

These executions follow the final ratification of the sentences issued against the convicts after exhausting all levels of judicial appeal and receiving the endorsement of the competent authorities.
