Kuwait Municipality gives one-week warning to remove event tents

Muhammad Al-Mutairi stated that the owners of wedding hall tents must remove them to restore the land to its natural state, thereby allowing the municipality to organize it according to new regulations.

  • Kuwait Municipality urges owners of wedding hall tents on state lands to promptly dismantle them before the warning period lapses. He emphasized that supervisory teams will not hesitate to proceed with the removal process once the warning period concludes.

Kuwait Municipality teams have commenced issuing warnings to owners of temporary event tents (wedding halls) and have given them a week to remove the tents.

In this regard, Muhammad Al-Mutairi, the official spokesman for the Kuwait Municipality and the Director of the Public Relations Department, confirmed that the municipality will rigorously enforce the law against violators, as per the provisions of Decree Law No. 105 of 1980 regarding state property, as amended by Decree Law No. 8 of 1988.

He clarified that the owners of wedding hall tents must remove them to restore the land to its natural state, allowing the municipality to organize it in accordance with new regulations.

He urged owners of wedding hall tents on state lands to promptly dismantle them before the warning period lapses. He emphasized that supervisory teams will not hesitate to proceed with the removal process once the warning period concludes.
