Kuwait Ministry of Education furnishes 19 new schools

The Ministry of Education has furnished 19 new schools in preparation for the upcoming academic year.

  • The schools are located in the Jahra, Ahmadi, Farwaniya, and Capital educational districts.

  • The ministry has been working on a plan to equip the schools since April of this year. All preparations are expected to be completed within the next two weeks.

In preparation for the upcoming academic year, the Kuwait Ministry of Education has furnished 19 new schools in the country’s educational districts.

This includes eight schools in the Jahra District, four schools in the Ahmadi District, three schools in the Farwaniya District, and four schools in the Capital District.

According to the Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs Mutlaq Al-Mutairi, the Ministry of Education has been working diligently on a comprehensive plan since April 2024 to fully equip these schools.

According to reports by Al-Rai newspaper, the distribution of school furniture commenced last Sunday, and the coming days will see the delivery of all necessary educational supplies. This includes furniture for classrooms, faculty offices, and student areas.

Al-Mutairi also stated that the schools have been named and their budgets have been determined in collaboration with the educational districts.

Liaison officers have been nominated to receive school furniture from the Supplies and Warehouses Department, and all preparations are expected to be completed within the next two weeks.
