To advance digital transformation and reduce paper reliance in government transactions, the government has launched a project to connect twenty entities via a unified digital platform for data exchange, according to Al Qabasnewspaper.

An informed source explained that this platform facilitates data exchange between state entities to enhance the productivity of government operations and improve public services.

Through this central system, government entities will no longer require reviewers to provide paper copies for document verification, as verification will be conducted directly with the data-issuing entities. The source emphasized that this project would enable entities to offer integrated services from start to finish, providing the necessary tools and unified data for secure and efficient data exchange.

Paperless revolution

The source pointed out that the project will reduce the use of paper and attachments, which will lower the error rate in completing transactions, decrease risks, and enhance protection and security by 80%. Additionally, it is expected to increase citizen and resident satisfaction with services by 60%.

He also noted that a budget of 1.6 million dinars has been allocated for the project.
