Kuwait introduces new service for accrediting academic qualifications

The transcript must encompass all academic subjects across all educational levels and years of study, from secondary (grade 12) to diploma, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees.

  • For diplomas and higher qualifications, original certificates with stamps, translated foreign certificates, and a professional practice certificate or approval are needed.

  • A Ministry of Higher Education equivalent document is required if applicable. For renewal, documents must be submitted three months before the work permit expires.

Al-Anbaa newspaper has learned from sources that the Public Authority for Manpower has introduced a new electronic service for companies: the accreditation request for academic qualifications.

The sources indicated that the documents required for all educational levels and qualifications (secondary, diploma, bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate) are as follows: a copy of the high school certificate (grade 12 certificate) with grades, along with the original transcript of grades for all years (from high school to the doctorate level).

For diploma and higher qualifications, all original certificates with the necessary stamps, a translation of foreign certificates, and a certificate of professional practice or approval from the relevant authority for professions requiring practice are required.

Additionally, an equivalent document from the Ministry of Higher Education, if applicable, is needed. For renewal, documents must be submitted three months before the work permit expires.

If the system rejects the transfer transaction in transfer cases, workers are required to upload their certificates.

The sources have confirmed that the transcript must encompass all academic subjects across all educational levels and years of study, from secondary (grade 12) to diploma, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees.
