Kuwait gears up to hold National Assembly elections on April 4

In a significant development, a government spokesman Amer Al-Ajmi has announced that the Council of Ministers has approved a draft decree, inviting voters to elect members of the esteemed National Assembly on April 4, 2024.

Al-Ajmi made a statement to KUNA that the publication of the decree calling for elections in the Official Gazette will be on Sunday, March 3.

This crucial decision was reached during a cabinet meeting on Tuesday chaired by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Sabah and has been submitted to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah.
