Kuwait faces scorching 52C temperatures

There will be a significant rise in temperature in the coming days, with maximums reaching between 51 and 52 degrees Celsius in most inland areas.

The Kuwait Meteorological Department has issued a heat advisory for the coming days, attributing the rising temperatures to an extension of the seasonal Indian low pressure system.

This weather pattern is drawing a hot air mass over the region, leading to a significant increase in temperatures.

Inland areas of Kuwait have already seen highs reaching between 51 and 52 degrees Celsius, and the trend is expected to continue.

Residents can expect very hot conditions during the day, with nighttime temperatures offering little respite.

While occasional northwesterly winds may provide temporary relief, they could also lead to dust storms, particularly in open areas.
