Kuwait faces internet slowdown after submarine cable cut

The General Authority for Communications and Information Technology reported an interruption in the international submarine cable ‘Falcon,’ operated by GCX, between Kuwait and Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

The authority is coordinating with GCX to implement technical solutions and is working with local Internet service providers to reroute data through alternative international cables, ensuring service continuity.
