Kuwait enforces strict food safety rules with round-the-clock inspections
Kuwait assures immediate action against violations affecting consumer health

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition has affirmed that the level of food safety in local markets is reassuring and subject to continuous monitoring around the clock.
Hanan Haji, inspection supervisor for Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate at the authority, said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Sunday that inspection campaigns focus on three key criteria: compliance with health requirements, the safety and certification of workers, and the validity and proper storage of food products.
She stressed that the authority takes immediate and decisive action against any violations that could impact consumer health, emphasizing that there is zero tolerance for breaches.
The authority reiterated its commitment to maintaining high food safety standards across markets through strict and ongoing oversight.
