Kuwait, Czech Republic hold fifth round of political consultations

Kuwait and the Czech Republic held the fifth round of political consultations in the Czech capital on Tuesday, focusing on ways to strengthen and further develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
Kuwait’s delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Hamad Al-Mishaan, while the Czech side was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Maria Avodratka, according to the Kuwait News Agency.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks reviewed the latest developments on the regional and international fronts, in addition to discussing ways to enhance cooperation across various fields, including diplomatic and academic areas.
The consultations also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute of Kuwait and the Diplomatic Academy of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs on cooperation in diplomatic training and capacity building.
The memorandum was signed for Kuwait by Ambassador Hamad Al-Mishaan and for the Czech side by Dana Kovacikova, Director General of the Diplomatic Academy at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
