Kuwait considers extending camping season to cover Ramadan
The Spring Camps Committee will request an extension of the camping season beyond March 15 from the Kuwait Municipality and the Environment Public Authority and await their decision.
Faisal Al-Otaibi, head of the Spring Camps Committee at Kuwait Municipality, announced that the committee will meet next Thursday to discuss key topics, including a possible 15-day extension of the camping season beyond its scheduled end on March 15 to cover the entire holy month of Ramadan.
Al-Otaibi told Al-Rai newspaper that the committee will submit a request to the Kuwait Municipality and the Environment Public Authority and await their response, stressing that “the decision depends on the approval of the relevant authorities, while the committee is merely fulfilling its assigned role.”
