‘Kuwait Build Summit 2025’ to spotlight innovation, sustainability, smart infrastructure

Kuwait is all set to host the Kuwait Build Summit 2025 tomorrow (May 5, 2025), organized by Zone Exhibitions and Conferences Management.

The event, held under the patronage and attendance of Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Abdullatif Hamad Al-Mishari, will explore the latest advancements in the construction and development sector, aligning with the New Kuwait Vision 2035, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The event will bring together senior officials, experts, and executives to discuss the future of construction, real estate, and smart infrastructure in Kuwait and the Gulf region, with special emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and green economy initiatives.

Chaired by Dr. Khaled Mahdi, former Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development, the summit’s advisory committee includes representatives from the Kuwaiti Union of Engineering and Consulting Offices, the Kuwaiti Contractors Union, the Kuwaiti Industries Union, and the Investment Companies Union.

Dr. Mahdi stressed the importance of real estate development in driving economic growth, job creation, and improving quality of life through sustainable and technologically advanced projects that support economic diversification.

The summit will feature international and local participants, with a keynote speech by AI expert Dr. Mark van Rijmenam.

He will talk on the ‘Leadership in the Age of Intelligence in the Construction Industry’. The discussions will cover green economy, energy transition, and their impact on the construction sector.

The event will also honor leading companies and individuals contributing to Kuwait’s development goals and launch an award for the five most economically impactful projects.

An accompanying exhibition will showcase the latest products, services, and innovations, offering networking and partnership opportunities within the industry.
