Kuwait braces for scorching 47°C heat wave

The Meteorological Department anticipated prevailing very hot and relatively humid weather today, particularly in coastal regions. Variable winds from the southeasterly direction are expected, ranging from light to moderate speeds of six to 32 kilometers per hour, as reported by Al Qabas newspaper.

It indicates that the weather at night will be hot to very hot and relatively humid, especially in coastal areas, with light to moderate southeasterly to southwesterly winds at speeds of six to 28 kilometers per hour.

The Meteorological Department also expects the maximum temperature at Kuwait International Airport to reach 47 degrees, while the minimum is forecasted to be 28 degrees.
