Kuwait bids farewell to veteran media personality Salah Al-Sayer

Kuwait mourns the loss of the esteemed writer and media personality Salah Ahmed Al-Sayer, who passed away today after a distinguished career marked by rich contributions to the country’s media and cultural landscape.

Al-Sayer was a pillar of Kuwaiti and Gulf journalism, known for his impactful writing and engaging radio and television appearances. His work stood out for its professionalism, balance, and unwavering commitment to national values, reports Al-Rai daily.

Through his pen, he championed awareness, reason, and love for Kuwait — planting seeds of belonging in the hearts of his readers and listeners.

He will be laid to rest on Friday evening at Sulaibikhat Cemetery, following the evening prayer.
