Kuwait Army to Conduct Explosives Disposal Operation in Al-Mubarakiya on Thursday
The General Staff of the Kuwait Army announced that a specialized inspection and disposal team from the Land Force Engineering Branch will carry out an operation to handle and dispose of remnants of shrapnel and unexploded ordnance in the Al-Bayan Al-Jadeeda (Al-Mubarakiya) area on Thursday.
The operation is scheduled to take place between 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
The Army stated that residents in nearby areas may hear explosion sounds during this period, clarifying that these noises will be the result of the controlled disposal of shrapnel and explosives as part of the operation.
Authorities urged the public not to be alarmed and confirmed that the procedure is being conducted by specialized personnel in accordance with safety measures.
