Kuwait Army Schedules Unexploded Ordnance Disposal Operation for Tuesday
Kuwait’s General Staff announced on Monday that the Inspection and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit of the Land Force Engineering Corps will conduct an operation to dispose of shrapnel remnants and unexploded ordnance in the northern part of the country on Tuesday.
In a statement, the General Staff said the operation will take place on June 2, 2026, from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon.
It noted that any explosion sounds that may be heard during that period will be the result of the planned disposal of shrapnel and explosive materials as part of the operation.
