Kuwait approves 132 new Deputy Prosecutors in transparent, tech-driven selection

Digital exams ensure fairness

The Supreme Judicial Council has approved the appointment of 132 male and female candidates as Deputy Prosecutors (C), following their successful completion of a rigorous selection process aimed at strengthening the Public Prosecution with qualified national talent.

A total of 1,295 applicants participated in the recruitment process, undergoing a series of standardized assessments designed to identify the most capable candidates for this key judicial role.

For the first time, this year’s evaluation process was conducted through a fully integrated electronic system, eliminating human intervention in exam correction. The move enhanced transparency, reinforced fairness in grading, and ensured equal opportunities for all applicants, reports Al-Rai daily

In a related development, the Ministry of Justice has called on the successful candidates to proceed with formal appointment procedures under the role of junior legal researcher, a prerequisite position that qualifies them to assume the post of Deputy Prosecutor (C) within the Public Prosecution.

The ministry instructed accepted applicants to report to the Administrative Affairs Department at the Ministries Complex (Block 15, Third Floor, (Appointments Section) to complete the necessary formalities and meet all legal requirements.
