‘Kuwait’ and ‘Saudi Arabia’ sign agreement to avoid double taxation and boost investment
Kuwaiti Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Eng. Noura Al-Fassam, and Saudi Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, signed an agreement on Wednesday aimed at avoiding double taxation and enhancing investment cooperation between the two countries.
The agreement was signed as part of the activities of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Conference, which began today, Wednesday, in Riyadh.
The agreement aims to encourage trade and investment by addressing tax challenges, thereby strengthening bilateral relations and ensuring equal opportunities for investors.
The conference serves as a platform that brings together approximately 90 local and international entities to discuss Zakat, Tax, and Customs issues, featuring over 70 workshops and dialogue sessions.
