‘Civil Aviation’ streamlines passenger complaint process to prioritize service quality

The Chairman of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, H.E. Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, called on Wednesday, to emphasize the urgent need in addressing complaints submitted by travelers to ensure their rights are protected.

This statement was made to KUNA following H.E. Al-Sabah’s meeting with members of the Complaints and Arbitration Committee at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. The meeting focused on enhancing operational efficiency and improving service quality for citizens and residents at Kuwait International Airport.

H.E. Humoud Al-Sabah emphasized, according to the statement that enhancing the efficiency of the Complaints and Arbitration Committee is a key administrative priority noting, that consistently strive to achieve a balance between protecting travelers’ rights and upholding the public interest.

Importantly, H.E. Hamoud Al-Sabah emphasized the need to simplify the complaint-filing process to ensure that citizens and residents can easily access their rights. He also highlighted the importance of enhancing follow-up mechanisms to take swift and effective action against violators.

H.E. Hamoud Al-Sabah thanked the committee for its efforts in improving complaint resolution and enhancing customer satisfaction, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to implementing the recommendations discussed during the meeting.

The statement highlighted that the meeting addressed key issues aimed at improving the committee’s work mechanisms and streamlining the handling of complaints.

Moreover, the discussions focused on simplifying the complaint submission process, expediting actions against violations, and enhancing communication between the General Directorate of Civil Aviation and citizens to ensure complaints are resolved efficiently and promptly.
