Kuwait airspace reopened, traffic resumes to and from Kuwait Airport: DGCA

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced that, based on coordination with relevant authorities in the State of Kuwait and ongoing cooperation with relevant regional and international entities, it has been decided to reopen the airspace and return air traffic to and from Kuwait International Airport to normal.

The DGCA said this came after confirming the stability of the airspace surrounding the State of Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily.

This decision affirms the DGCA’s commitment to ensuring the highest standards of safety and security in Kuwaiti airspace, and is based on accurate assessments conducted by specialized teams in cooperation with relevant local and international authorities.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation thanked all passengers and airlines for their understanding and cooperation over the past period, stressing that the safety of everyone and the State of Kuwait has always been and will always be a top priority. May God protect Kuwait and its people from all harm.
