Kuwait Airport to handle 1,691 flights and 225,000 passengers in 5 days

The Director of Operations at the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, Mansour Al-Hashemi, announced that Kuwait Airport is fully prepared to handle the surge in travel during the National Day holiday. With a well-coordinated plan in place alongside relevant authorities, passengers can expect a seamless and hassle-free journey.

In an exclusive statement to Al-Rai, Mansour Al-Hashemi confirmed that Kuwait International Airport is fully prepared to accommodate the high volume of passengers during the National Day holiday. Between February 25 and March 1, the airport is set to handle approximately 1,691 flights, 849 departures and 842 arrivals, with a total of 225,000 passengers, including 113,000 departing and 112,000 arriving travelers.

Al-Hashemi highlighted that the Operations Department has strategically deployed teams across Kuwait International Airport to assist travelers at every step, from the entry gate to their plane seats. These teams are dedicated to ensuring smooth reception and departure procedures, effectively preventing congestion and streamlining passenger flow.

Al-Hashemi urged travelers to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before their departure to ensure a smooth check-in process and avoid any delays.
