Kuwait accelerates adoption of modern technologies, strengthens international partnerships

Minister of State for Communications Affairs Omar Al-Omar highlighted Kuwait’s commitment to accelerating the adoption of modern technologies and expanding cooperation with international partners.
These efforts aim to enhance the readiness of the country’s communications and technology systems and support the objectives of Kuwait Vision 2035 for an integrated and sustainable digital economy.
Speaking after leading Kuwait’s official delegation to the Bloomberg Technology Summit in London, which concluded last Tuesday, Al-Omar noted that Kuwait’s participation reflects its dedication to strengthening its presence in global forums hosted by leading institutions in technology and digital economy sectors.
The Kuwaiti delegation engaged in summit sessions and workshops on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and sustainable digital infrastructure, exchanging expertise and gaining insights to inform national policies and initiatives.
Additionally, Kuwait showcased its fast-growing ICT market through an advertising presentation and participated in a panel discussion on artificial intelligence in the financial sector, attracting investors interested in exploring opportunities in the country.
