KJA calls for General Assembly Meeting

The Kuwait Journalists Association has issued an invitation to its members who have paid their subscriptions by the deadline of Monday, the 12th of this month, in accordance with Articles 25 and 27 of the association’s statute. The purpose of the invitation is to attend the regular general assembly meeting scheduled for three o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 20th of this month, at the association’s temporary headquarters.

In a statement released yesterday, the association emphasized that if the required quorum for the meeting is not met, there will be a half-hour postponement before the meeting proceeds with any number of attendees, as stipulated in Article 29 of its bylaws, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The temporary headquarters of the association is located at the Shuwaikh Industrial Area – Al Sahafa Street, opposite the Khalidiya area.
