KIC champions sustainability during third Kuwait sustainability exhibition
The Kuwait Insurance Company (KIC) demonstrated its commitment to sustainability by sponsoring the third Kuwait Sustainability Exhibition held in Murooj for three days from February 8.
CEO of Kuwait Insurance Company, Sami Sharif, expressed pride in the company’s sponsorship of such meaningful events focused on sustainability and development, reports Al-Jarida daily.
He emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of sustainability in society and raising awareness about building a sustainable future for generations to come. Sharif stated that Kuwait Insurance is dedicated to enhancing its sustainability programs and follows a holistic approach to development, integrating social, economic, and environmental systems to promote sustainability both within and outside the company.
Highlighting the significance of sponsoring the exhibition, Sharif underscored the importance of collaboration between the private and public sectors in driving significant positive changes for the environment globally. He emphasized that sustainable development cannot be achieved without commitment and cooperation from all sectors of society.
Given Kuwait’s focus on sustainability, Sharif reiterated Kuwait Insurance Company’s commitment to supporting the state’s efforts in line with Kuwait Vision 2035, aiming to achieve comprehensive sustainability goals.
