KFF shuts down non-compliant facilities during joint safety campaign

The Kuwait Fire Force has announced the administrative closure of several facilities in Kuwait’s East District due safety and fire prevention regulations violations.

The closures were part of a coordinated inspection campaign aimed at ensuring public safety and compliance with regulatory standards, reports Al-Rai daily.

The campaign was led by Brigadier General Mohammed Yousef Ahmed, Director of Prevention in the Capital Governorate, in cooperation with multiple government entities including the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Kuwait Municipality, and the Public Authority for Manpower.

Inspectors came across several buildings and establishments which had failed to meet the safety requirements set by the KFF.

The campaign underscores the authorities’ commitment to enforcing fire safety measures and holding violators accountable in order to protect the lives and property of citizens and residents.
