Kuwait launches ‘Resident Data’ service on Sahel App

In a step toward enhancing digital governance and ensuring the accuracy of civil records, the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has launched a new service titled ‘Resident Data’ through the government’s unified application, Sahel.
The new feature enables property owners to review and monitor the list of residents registered under their buildings, providing them with real-time access to occupancy data. This initiative empowers landlords to exercise direct oversight over their properties and report discrepancies, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to PACI, if a property owner discovers inaccurate or suspicious resident information, they can immediately file a direct electronic complaint via the app. The Authority stressed that the new service will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of civil records and enhancing transparency in housing data.
The move is part of Kuwait’s broader efforts to digitize government services, streamline administrative procedures, and reinforce property rights and security across the country.
