Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Inspection Campaign Records 152 Violations, 10 Shops Closed

A joint inspection campaign by government authorities in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh resulted in 152 violation reports and the closure of 10 commercial establishments for breaching commercial regulations.

The campaign was carried out by the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Department, represented by the inspection monitoring unit in Farwaniya Governorate, in cooperation with the Farwaniya and Jahra Emergency Team. Inspectors conducted extensive checks on a number of businesses across the area.

The closed establishments included businesses involved in gold and jewelry sales, domestic labor recruitment, and cafes. Authorities said the closures were ordered due to violations that warranted action under commercial licensing laws and for failing to comply with regulations prohibiting cash transactions for companies engaged in certain activities.

Officials confirmed that the necessary legal measures have been taken against the violators as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen market oversight and ensure compliance with commercial regulations.
