Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Coop reports 2.47 million dinars in revenue, up 19%

Chairman of the Purchasing Committee, Mohammed Murshid Al-Azmi, announced a major financial leap for the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Cooperative Society, with total revenues from sales, free goods, and rental income reaching 2.470 million dinars from the beginning of 2025 until the end of June — an increase of 406,000 dinars (19%) compared to the same period last year.

He revealed that daily sales more than doubled, rising from under 10,000 dinars to over 19,000 dinars. The value of free services grew by 62.7%, while rental income increased by 4%.

The association also demonstrated strong financial health, having paid all state property dues for the fiscal period from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, totaling 145,000 dinars.

Al-Azmi confirmed that following the recent surge in sales, several major suppliers have resumed operations with the cooperative, restoring their product supply to the central market and its branches — a move that signals renewed confidence in the cooperative’s financial management.

The cooperative held six major promotional festivals and 24 vegetable festivals over six months, offering consumers a wide range of competitively priced products. These festivals helped drive sales and build loyalty among shoppers.

Al-Azmi emphasized the cooperative’s commitment to the vision of Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, by supporting Kuwaiti-made products and incorporating them into promotional activities aimed at shareholders and consumers alike.
